First edition. No. 96 of 2000 copies, this copy DOUBLY SIGNED BY STOPPARD AND ED BERMAN. Foreword by Tom Stoppard.

The American Rhodes scholar and community activist E.D. Berman founded the London-based Inter-Action Productions in 1968, and the Almost Free Theatre in 1971, and Stoppard's early one-act plays often found homes at Berman's theatres. These plays were performed by Berman's British American Repertory Company in London and New York in 1979.
