8vo, pp. 290. Original olive green boards, lettered in gilt to spine. Photographically illustrated dustwrapper. Yellow endpapers. Corners very lightly bumped, but a near fine copy in a near fine dustwrapper, very light wear to spine ends and a single 1cm closed tear to top edge of front panel.

First edition, INSCRIBED BY JOHN MILLS TO BOB 'BLOCKBUSTERS' HOLNESS: 'For Bob, With thanks for a great start on the air - [illegible] yours - John Mills'.

From 1975 to 1985, Bob Holness co-presented a morning radio show on London's LBC, and over the years amassed a large collection of inscribed copies of books plugged by their authors on the show. This book was presented to Holness following Mills' appearance there.
