Terms of service

All items are subject to prior sale, are guaranteed as described, and remain the property of Neil Pearson Rare Books Limited until payment is received in full.

All items are fully insured against loss or damage while in transit by Neil Pearson Rare Books Limited.

Internet orders paid for by credit card will be shipped only to the billing address of the card used for payment. If payment is made by bank transfer we will deliver to any address stipulated, once funds are received.

Deferred billing is available, on request, to libraries and institutions only.

We accept payments by bank transfer, in cash or by Visa, Mastercard and PayPal.

Reciprocal trade terms apply to bonafide booksellers.

Any item ordered through our website, or from a catalogue or e-list issued by us, may be returned if unsatisfactory, providing we are notified of your intention within seven days of receipt of the item. The item must be returned to us in the same condition it was in when dispatched by us. We recommend you return your item using a secure or trackable method, with sufficient insurance for the item’s value, and that you retain your proof of postage. A refund of the purchase price only will be made, delivery charges are non-refundable.
