Reading copies only, many lacking the dust jackets.
A COLLECTION OF VOLUMES FROM THE LIBRARY OF THE YOUNG EDWARD BOND, ALL VARIOUSLY AND EXPERIMENTALLY SIGNED.
The ownership signatures are variously dated between 1950 and 1963, all bar the latest dating from Bond's mid-teens to early twenties. His handwriting varies widely, from the small and precise to the wildly ornate, and he is also experimenting with how to sign himself -- even, on occasion, trying out the name 'Adrian'.
The Confidential Clerk, although in good condition only and lacking the dust jacket, is a first edition; the rest of the books in the collection are reading copies, seemingly bought second-hand by Bond.
